The gift of life is a beautiful thing and your journey to parenthood is something that is unique to you. There’s no “one size fits all” when it comes to pregnancy, or parenting so let’s capture you and your growing whanau in a way that reflects you as a family.
My Maternity sessions are held on location at one of Auckland’s stunning beaches, or beauty spots. We are so spoilt for choice in Auckland that it would be criminal not to explore the stunning scenery we have on offer right on our doorstep. I am constantly scouting new locations so we can work together to find a spot that’s just right for you and your bump.
The best time for a maternity shoot is between 30 and 35 weeks and it’s best to book your session in advance as babies don’t necessarily follow their due dates, (my own son was born a week earlier than planned!) So please do get in touch well in advance of your due date so we can lock your booking in my calendar.
Mama & Bump sessions are designed for expectant Mama’s who would like some individual photos as keepsakes of their journey. I know I treasure my own maternity photos, and I am so glad I put myself in-front of the camera despite my initial hesitation. Partners and your immediate family are encouraged to join you at full portrait sessions.

I have a range of maternity dresses for you to use – please enquire at the time of booking for availability and sizing. The use of my gowns is included in the price of your session, or you can choose to wear your own. As long as you feel comfortable that’s the main thing! I can also recommend some wonderful hair and make up artists that you might want to contact to help you feel pampered ahead of your session.
For partner’s and older siblings I have a Pinterest page with ideas that I will send you once you’ve confirmed your booking with me.

I’m a firm believer in putting photos up on the wall, or in a beautiful album for you to cherish forever. That’s why my packages include a number of 5×7″ lustre loose prints for you to frame or gift to family or friends.
Additional loose or matted prints, frames and wall art are also available to purchase from your private online viewing gallery.

A $150 non-refundable booking fee is required to save your date in my calendar, and covers the planning time in the lead up to your session. Your remaining balance is due in full 48 hours prior to your photoshoot.
You will also be sent a booking confirmation for you to read and sign prior to your photo session.
Travel fees outside of Auckland may apply and all pricing includes GST.

Sarah came down to Christchurch to do a maternity shoot when I was pregnant with my son, with my partner, my daughter and I.
